Events

We organize events for our Danish students all year round. Right now we have a summer break, but from August-September we will arrange new and exiting events for our students.

Below you can see some of the events that we organised during the spring this year.

Join our Danish choir

If you are fond of singing in the shower, then please come and join in!

We will meet to sing Danish songs that are appropriate for the season. First we will warm up with fun exercises and tell you something about the songs. You will learn new words and get the story behind the song.

Students from all levels are welcome, and it is not a condition that you have a good voice.

Drop by and sing with us three Fridays in the spring - next time is April 21.

Each time from 13:15 to 14:15.

Borgergade 14, 1st floor, room 127.

You do not have to sign up, you can just come.

Film and conversation in Danish

Come and see a Danish film.

We will watch the film first, and then talk about it in Danish.

The afternoon is for students from module 4 and up.

We will serve something to drink and some nice snacks.

Saturday, April 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Studieskolen, Borgergade 14, 1st floor, aud. 127

You do not have to sign up, you can just come.

How to be polite in Danish

Lecture on the challenges that Danes have when we want to express politeness.

In Danish we don't have a word like please, bitte or s'il vous plaît. But it does not mean that Danes cannot be polite, we just have other ways to do it.

Lecture by teacher and journalist Ulla Gjedde.

Friday 28 April from 16.00 to 17.30

Studieskolen, Borgergade 14, 1st floor, room 131

It's free, but we kindly ask you to register - click here to sign up.

EVENTS FOR ALL STUDENTS

We organise a variety of activities and events - and everyone is welcome.
Some events are in Danish, others in another language and can target our students who learn a foreign language.
Most events are free, but often you must register first.
