In order to be granted a permanent residence permit you must meet two of four supplementary requirements in addition to the basic requirements. One of these requirements can be met by passing an active citizen exam.
The exam contains questions about Danish society, culture and history.

If you have registered for the test, you will receive an email two weeks before the test with information about the location and timing of the test.
Cancellation of the exam can take place until one week before the exam. The examination fee cannot be refunded after this. There will be a cancellation fee of 50 kr
The active citizen exam is designed as a multiple-choice exam and contains questions about everyday life and citizenship in Denmark. The test consists 25 questions.
The questions are prepared separately for each test and are multiple choice.
To pass the test, you must correctly answer at least 20 out of the 25 questions. You have 30 minutes to answer the questions.
