If you want to apply for Danish citizenship, you must demonstrate knowledge of Danish society, culture and history by passing The Citizenship Test.
As well as passing The Citizenship Test, you must meet the other requirements for obtaining Danish citizenship. Read more about the requirements for obtaining Danish citizenship.

If you have registered for the test, you will receive an email two weeks before the test with information about the location and timing of the test.
Cancellation of the exam can take place until one week before the exam. The examination fee cannot be refunded after this. There will be a cancellation fee of 50 kr
The Citizenship Test consists of a total of 40 questions on Danish society, culture and history. The questions are prepared separately for each test and are multiple choice. 35 questions are developed within the framework of the study material and 5 questions are related to current affairs.
To pass the test, you must correctly answer at least 32 out of the 40 questions. You have 45 minutes to answer the questions.
