Planning to take the TOEFL iBT exam? This intensive course provides strategies to be successful on all four modules of the exam:

  • reading

  • listening

  • writing

  • speaking

In addition, you will have the chance to develop essential vocabulary and grammar skills.
By practising each area of the exam, you can quickly focus on the areas you need to improve and develop a study plan based on your individual strengths and weaknesses.

The course will use some of the material from a course book which includes four practice tests. The book can also be used for self-study outside of class.

Homework is an important part of this course. You will be expected to write at least 4 essays during the course. In addition, you will be asked to complete a diagnostic test prior to the course start in order for the teacher to tailor-make the course content.

The course book will be provided and is included in the course price.

If the full course is unable to run due to insufficient enrollment, participants will be offered an alternative solution.

Note! This course requires a confirmed start level of B2. To find your current level please take our free online test: studieskolen.dk/en/sprogtest.

The Moodle learning platform
Moodle is Studieskolen's online course platform, which we use for all our courses. You will be given personal access to your course Moodle page, where you can:

  • Find your course plan and teaching material

  • Find homework

  • Watch videos and click on links to useful English resources on the Internet uploaded by your teacher

  • Find practical information about each lesson

  • Communicate with your teacher and fellow students

If you are ill or absent during the course, you can always follow the teaching and catch up via Moodle.
The sessions will take place on the three following Fridays 12.06., 19.06. and 26.06.
6-12 students.

Note! We expect that we can run the course as normal with classroom instruction. However, if the authorities at the start of the course recommend that no class instruction be held, this course will be conducted online.

In this case, the course will be completed with a mix of two online programs, namely Moodle and Zoom. Some of the teaching time will be with "class teaching" in Zoom. Some of the teaching will consist of different activities on the teaching platform Moodle. You will thus be able to follow the instruction from your PC for the period recommended by the authorities.

Expanded Opt-Out clause
Of course, it still applies that if you cancel your enrollment, you can still have your course fee returned up to one week before your course starts. However, for the moment, we have expanded our rules regarding the opt-out clause. If, during the first week of the course, the authorities discourage class tuition, you can still get the course fee back if you do not wish to attend the online tuition course.
