Excursion to the Karen Blixen Museum for students who study Danish

maj 03, 2020

Join our excursion to the Karen Blixen Museum at Rungstedlund, the famous author's private home.

You can see Karen Blixen's living rooms that are still as she herself decorated them. In all rooms, you will find fresh flower decorations in the style that Karen Blixen loved.
In addition to Karen Blixen's beautiful home, you can also see special exhibitions.
A selection of Karen Blixen's own paintings is on display in the gallery, and you can see a film with a live presentation of Karen Blixen's life and writing.

After seeing the museum, we will take a walk in the park, which is also a bird sanctuary. Here you will experience nature and you will see the beautiful, old beech trees, several of which are between 250 and 300 years old.

It is possible - at your own expense - to order coffee and sandwiches in the Karen Blixen Café. You will have to book a table yourself by phone: 45 76 48 56.

All students who study Danish are welcome! It’s free, but please register below.
