Become a volunteer - and get so much more in returnDo you want to meet new people, expand your network and give your CV a boost? Then don't miss our talk about volunteering in Copenhagen.

Being a volunteer is not only a way to help others - it is also a shortcut to:

  • New friends and communities - meet interesting people and build lasting relationships.

  • Better job opportunities - gain practical experience, new skills and references for your CV.

  • Active citizenship in Denmark - understand the culture, be part of the local community and make a difference.

Hear much more at this talk on volunteering for international adults. Volunteer Center Vesterbro/Kgs. Enghave/Valby will provide inspiration on how voluntary engagement can open doors for you - socially, professionally and as an active participant in Danish society.

You will leave with plenty of concrete ideas on where you can volunteer and how to get started. And yes - you can absolutely volunteer, even if you don't speak Danish yet.

The talk will be in English.

Charlotte recommends:
Do you have a favourite place outside of Copenhagen?
"Roskilde is a fantastic city! It’s one of the oldest cities in Denmark and contains a lot of cultural history. It’s also located next to Roskilde Fjord, which is known for its beautiful paths and wildlife. All while being only a 25-minute train ride away from Copenhagen.
For those interested in history, there is the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum by the harbour. But for those interested in culture, I recommend a visit to Musicon, which is an area full of container homes, graffiti and unique shops. Here you might find your next recycled gem in the shop Om-klædning. There’s also the magnificent rock museum RAGNAROCK, which is shaped like a gigantic electric guitar."
