Medborgerskabsprøven consists of 25 written questions. You get 30 minutes to answer all 25 questions.
The questions are multiple-choice. That means that for every question, you get several options to choose between. Select the answer that you think is correct.
Each question only has one correct answer, so you can only select one option.
In order to pass the test, you must answer at least 20 out of the 25 questions correctly.

IMPORTANT! You must show photo IDYou must show valid photo ID at the test. Click here to see the rules for photo ID.
If you don't have a valid photo ID, you must make an application to use another kind of ID. You have to file the application at least 4 weeks before the test. Send the application to SIRI (Styrelsen for International Rekruttering og Integration) by writing an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you receive a reply on your application, you must forward the reply to Studieskolen at email@example.com.
Dispensation to take the test under special conditionsIf you have dyslexia, a mental or physical disability or other comparable difficulties, then you can apply for dispensation to take the test under special conditions.
You can apply for dispensation by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Studieskolen will then contact you regarding documentation (a dyslexia test or a doctor's note). You must apply as soon as possible and no later than 21 October.
The test costs 825 DKK.
Tests in 2023
Medborgerskabsprøven will be held on 31 May. Deadline for signing up is 26 April.
