Even though we understand each other in the Scandinavian countries, there are a few obstacles, e.g. pronunciation and proverbs. If you don't master the little differences, it can be difficult to get the job you really want.

At Studieskolen's Danish courses for Scandinavians you will learn to speak, read, understand and write Danish.

The courses are at level B1-B2 on the  European Reference Framework for Languages - because as a fluent Swedish or Norwegian speaker you do not have to start from scratch with Danish.

We will go through all the proverbs and false friends that can be challenging for Scandinavians living in Denmark.
We will focus on pronunciation and spoken Danish, e.g. making oral presentations in Danish.

The courses are tailor-made for students who speak fluent Swedish or Norwegian, and we use teaching materials that have been specially developed for teaching Scandinavians Danish.

We start new courses for Scandinavians every six weeks. The courses usually last between 9 and 12 weeks, and there is class one evening a week.
