Get more comfortable with Danish work culture
Speaking Danish is one thing; integrating into Danish workplace culture is quite another.

Danish workplaces are often defined by a flat hierarchy and decentralisation of responsibility, but what does that even mean?

Join us for a workshop on Danish work culture to learn more. Danish teacher and MA in Culture and Business Communication, Charlotte Kaare-Gonçalves, will explore how the Danish culture affects the way Danish companies work internally. You’ll discover what to look out for and challenge your assumptions about working in a Danish environment.

It takes place:
Tuesday 21 April 2026 from 16:30 to 18:00
Studieskolen, Borgergade 12

The workshop will be held in English and is open to all Danish students from Studieskolen.

Charlotte recommends:
Do you have a favourite place outside of Copenhagen?
"Roskilde is a fantastic city! It’s one of the oldest cities in Denmark and contains a lot of cultural history. It’s also located next to Roskilde Fjord, which is known for its beautiful paths and wildlife. All while being only a 25-minute train ride away from Copenhagen.
For those interested in history, there is the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum by the harbour. But for those interested in culture, I recommend a visit to Musicon, which is an area full of container homes, graffiti and unique shops. Here you might find your next recycled gem in the shop Om-klædning. There’s also the magnificent rock museum RAGNAROCK, which is shaped like a gigantic electric guitar."
