Danish Language Classes at NBI

Register for Danish Language Classes at NBI
Studieskolen and the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI) are exploring the possibility of offering free Danish language classes for international employees and researchers directly at NBI. These classes will take place on-site at NBI, provided there are enough participants to form a group.

Important
Your municipality might ask you to pay a deposit of 2000 DKK before you can start your Danish class. If you stick to the time frame for deposit reimbursement, you can get your deposit paid back.

Who can participate?
International employees at NBI who are entitled to Danish Education can take part in these courses free of charge (apart from the deposit).

Course levels
Of course we will make sure to place you in a class that fits your level.

• Beginners: If you have never studied Danish before, you will start in a beginner-level class.
• Experienced learners: If you already have some knowledge of Danish, you will be placed in a class that matches your current level.

How to get started
Once you register below, Studieskolen will assess whether you are eligible for free Danish Education. You will then either:

• be invited to a placement interview to determine your current Danish language level or
• be asked to complete an online language test
