What is Studieprøven?
Studieprøven is the highest-level exam within the Danish language education programme. It is a requirement for admission to many higher education institutions, such as universities. Module 6 and Studieprøven are also suitable for those who may not necessarily be applying for higher education, but who need to expand their academic Danish language skills.Module 6 prepares you for Studieprøven
If you intend to take Studieprøven, we recommend that you first complete Module 6, which helps you prepare for the exam.
On Module 6 you will:
- Be taught by highly specialised and very experienced teachers.
- Work intensively with carefully selected topics and materials that focus on various angles on issues such as demography and welfare, the environment and climate, the future labour market and ethical questions related to modern science and new technology.
- Gain an overview of the content and structure of Studieprøven. We thoroughly review all parts of the exam.
- Practise the different types of tasks found in the exam. We will train specific techniques and strategies for reading, writing and oral communication.
- Develop a range of language functions, such as arguing, putting things into perspective, reasoning and providing examples.
Module 6 is an academic Danish course
Module 6 is an intensive course at a high level (C1). The progression is rapid, so you should be prepared for a steep learning curve.
It is essential that you are already accustomed to working with Danish at an academic level, both in writing and speaking.
We expect you to be prepared for a substantial amount of homework every week.
Module 6 is part of the Danish language education programme and is therefore free of charge if you are entitled to Danish language tuition.
How to enrol in Module 6
Module 6 is not suitable for all learners, which is why there are various admission requirements. You may need to sit an entrance test where your Danish skills will be assessed to determine whether you can follow the course.
- If you have passed PD3 with a score of 12 in the written component and at least 10 in both the oral and reading components, you can be admitted directly to Module 6.
