Join us for summer school - plenty of fun courses including everyday conversation, Danish culture, singing and music, pronunciation, reading, writing, city walks and much more.
Welcome to Studieskolen's summer school for Danish students!
During the summer holidays, we put our regular Danish education classes on hold - instead, you can join a wide range of courses on Danish language and culture.
Who is the Summer School for?
The summer school is for you who are entitled to free Danish education. So if you are already enrolled in a Danish course at Studieskolen, you can learn even more Danish during the summer with a wide range of enjoyable and inspiring courses. If you're not already taking your Danish education at Studieskolen, please sign up and we'll send you an email with information on what to do to enroll.
If you have completed a module at another language centre and wish to transfer to Studieskolen, you can do so. You do not need to attend an interview if your module test certificate is not older than six months.
The courses are also open for you if you have not yet started the Danish education programme, as long as you have been assessed to start in August. If you are completely new to Denmark, you must first attend an interview with Studieskolen before you can join the summer school.
The courses last three weeks and there are two periods:
30 June – 19 July
21 July – 9 August
There are courses tailored to match the difficulty of all modules, making it easy for you to find a course that suits you.
Some courses take place at Studieskolen, others are held outside in the city of Copenhagen, and some are a blend of both. However, they all share the same approach: no textbooks and no homework.
