Bent Hemmingsen

We have asked our teachers to recommend a place, some music or literature. This is what Bent recommends.

Do you have any favourite music?
"I listen to a lot of electronic music and jazz and never miss a concert with Squarepusher. My old Chick Corea vinyl records still often get a spin on the record player. You can also find me at places like La Fontaine, the lovely jazz club on Kompagnistræde in the city centre, or at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. I'm always there when Kresten Osgood is out playing the drums."

What is your favourite literature?
"The books I read are mostly about time, language, and identity, but I also try to sneak in a bit of fiction. At the moment, I've got Natsume Soseki's "Kokoro" and Kurt Vonnegut's "Player Piano" in my bag for my S-train journeys."
