Make plans and talk about the past in SpanishThis course is the last step before you go from A1 to A2 level. You will learn to speak in more nuanced ways, enabling you to have good conversations on many topics. This course is taught in English, so you do not need to speak any Danish.
You will learn the most necessary things for a trip as well as how to talk about, for example, your leisure activities and things that happened in the past. At the same time, you will also learn more useful words and expressions that you can use when you are travelling.
You will learn to
- say what you think about the food at a restaurant
- compliment someone - and accept praise yourself
- give a description and information about your home
- talk and ask questions about things that happened in the past
Mi casa es tu casaYou will learn the words you need to know to order food at a restaurant. You will also learn to talk about how the food tastes and to describe things in general. We also practise more personal conversations so that you can make plans or make agreements - and say yes and no in a polite way! You will learn to talk about your own and other people's home, because in Spanish we say mi casa es tu casa, but what does that really mean?
You will read about interesting places and their culture, nature and history in the textbook, which takes you on a big virtual journey to 'visit' Chile and Argentina.
Your grammar also gets a big boost. Among other things, you will learn the grammar you need to evaluate and describe things and to talk about something in the past.
You speak a lot of Spanish in classAt Studieskolen we focus on getting you to speak a lot. You practice your pronunciation so that you can both be understood and understand what is being answered! All teaching is in Spanish, unless there is a good reason for it. Because why should we speak English when we can speak Spanish? We will of course use English when we need to, and your workbooks are also in English. But precisely because it is important that you speak as much as possible, class teaching is often supplemented by group work or working in pairs, so that you and your fellow students have more opportunities to speak Spanish. That is how you learn best.
Get an overview of the course and materialsYou will have access to Moodle, our online learning platform. Here you will have an overview of the entire course. You will also have contact with the other students, and you can talk about what is happening in the class. On Moodle you can:
- view the plan for the entire course, the individual lessons and homework
- view teaching materials, including additional materials
- communicate with your teacher and fellow students
- follow along and catch up if you are absent during the course
