Would you like to expand your network, strengthen your job prospects, and become an active part of society? Join us for a talk on volunteering for adult foreigners, where Frivilligcenter Vesterbro Kgs. Enghave and Valby will share inspiration on how volunteer engagement can open doors – both socially and professionally.

You’ll get concrete examples of how volunteering can:

  • Expand your network: Meet new people and become part of a community.

  • Boost your job search: Gain experience, new skills, and references for your CV.

  • Promote citizenship: Learn more about Danish society and make a difference in your local area.

You’ll also receive practical ideas on where you can volunteer.

Whether you’re new to Copenhagen or have lived here for years, volunteering is a fantastic way to get involved – and perhaps take the next step in your career or social life.

The talk is for our Danish language students and will be held in English so everyone can join.

Charlotte Kaare-Gonçalves

Charlotte recommends:
Do you have a favourite place outside of Copenhagen?
"Roskilde is a fantastic city! It’s one of the oldest cities in Denmark and contains a lot of cultural history. It’s also located next to Roskilde Fjord, which is known for its beautiful paths and wildlife. All while being only a 25-minute train ride away from Copenhagen.
For those interested in history, there is the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum by the harbour. But for those interested in culture, I recommend a visit to Musicon, which is an area full of container homes, graffiti and unique shops. Here you might find your next recycled gem in the shop Om-klædning. There’s also the magnificent rock museum RAGNAROCK, which is shaped like a gigantic electric guitar."
