Yesterday, we had a visit from an American film crew following Angelina Usanova - Miss Ukraine - as she travels around Europe and meets other Ukrainians who have had to create a new life away from their homeland.
Since 2022, Studieskolen has facilitated intensive English courses for Ukrainians. This is made possible with funds from Aid Ukraine Danmark. In this way, Ukrainians in Denmark can quickly integrate into the workforce and settle here.
Our students and English teachers Wynn and Svitlana (who is Ukrainian herself) were enthusiastic about showcasing how an English lesson can take place.
Tara Klarlund Hogan, head of the English department at Studieskolen, and Mette Wibeck Olsen from Aid Ukraine (last picture below), ensure the continued strong collaboration on English for Ukrainians.
