In collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, Studieskolen has been offering language support to SOSU (social and health care assistant) students with Danish as their second language since April 2021.
Among the students who accepted the offer of language support, only 7.5% have discontinued their SOSU studies.
In comparison, approximately 37% of the students who did not accept the offer have stopped their studies.
The result is crystal clear: language support simply helps with student retention - and now the offer will be expanded nationwide!
