Danish language classes for CBS students and staff - spring semester 2025
As an international student or staff member at CBS, you are invited to attend free Danish language classes at Studieskolen.
These classes are comprised of international students and staff, thereby forming an efficient and inspiring learning environment. In the classroom, we combine Danish language instruction with insight into Danish culture, and in this way enhance your opportunities both in relation to studies, work, and leisure time in Denmark.
Studieskolen has more than 45 years of experience in teaching Danish, including many years of teaching university students and staff. Our program for CBS is designed for busy students and staff, offering classroom instruction once a week combined with 24-7 access to Studieskolen’s online learning platform.
The classes take place in our classrooms in central Copenhagen.
Before you start your Danish class, you will have to attend a mandatory information meeting, where you will get a lot of information about the course and other relevant information.
We will also speak to you individually to assure that you are eligible for free Danish Education. Read about the Danish Education Programme here.
At the information meeting you can sign up for a Danish class.
Please note, that registration for a course requires participation in the information meeting.
Deadline: You must sign up for an information meeting by Friday 31 January 2025 at the latest.
Classes will be starting mid-February and will take place once a week from 17:15 to 20:45 until mid-May when you will attend the mandatory Module Test.
Your municipality will ask you to pay a deposit of 2000 DKK before you can start your Danish class. You must pay the deposit before you can start a module in the free Danish Education programme.
You pay the deposit to Studieskolen, but it belongs to your municipality. The deposit is not payment for Danish classes.
If you stick to the time frame for deposit reimbursement, you can get your deposit paid back.
