Lær dansk på vores aftenbyvandring
Styrk dit dansk, mens du bevæger dig rundt i smukke København.

Bodil Tvede

Bodil recommends:
What are your favourite places in Copenhagen?
"Assistens Cemetery is one of the beautiful green oases that Copenhagen is so full of. Most people rush through the avenue with the tall poplar trees, but if you have time, you can easily find peace among the graves in the old section.
H.C. Andersen and Kierkegaard are buried here, but you can also look for the pioneer and teacher Charlotte Klein or the Danish stuntwoman Emilie Sannom.
Try also to find Master Fatman's magical gravestone, and bring a book to one of the benches under the old trees.
In the summer months, there are free guided tours, but there are also audio walks and digital guides on kk.dk.

Cinemateket is another inspiring place. It is run by film enthusiasts who ensure that you have the opportunity to see forgotten silent films, films from Lithuania, big films from the 80s, obscure cult films or new documentaries.
Often, there will be presentations by film experts or talks with directors, so you can safely take a chance and be inspired, provoked or pleasantly surprised.
They also have Danish on a Sunday, where they show Danish films with English subtitles.
And as a cinema-goer at Cinemateket, you can request films that you would like to see or rewatch on the big screen."

Laura Lyng

Laura recommends:
Do you have a favourite spot in Copenhagen?
"I live in Nordvest, and I love all the opportunities that the neighbourhood offers! There are affordable second-hand shops (with good finds if you're patient), delicious and exciting ingredients in the markets, comedy and live music at Lygten Station, and green retreats – for example, the area around Utterslev Mose, where I often go for walks and greet the many geese and swans."

Do you have any good ideas for other activities in Copenhagen?
"I really enjoy visiting art museums, but I'm also fascinated by the art in the urban landscape: on walls, doors, and larger public spaces. Two of the artists I particularly like are HuskMitNavn and Storm P., who both use a playful and almost childlike expression to comment on society and put everyday life into perspective. I know there are at least a few of their works on walls around the city – maybe even more!"
