We have asked our teachers to recommend a place, some music or an artist. This is what Mikkel recommends.

Do you have a favourite place in Copenhagen?
"I love the places in and around the city where nature gets a place and where you can find peace.

Amager Strandpark is one of those places for me, especially outside the summer season and the many bathers. A walk or run along the water among marsh grass and small dunes on the man-made island or along the old coastline and the tall trees and wide grasslands is something special - regardless of the weather.

There are also many unique places and moments in the city itself. I have been surprised several times by how many beautiful buildings and streets there actually are.

Try taking a walk in the city centre on a spring morning with no other purpose than to sit on three or four different Copenhagen benches and soak up the surroundings - preferably with a cup of coffee. Notice the voices of the people, the buzz of the city, the water of the harbour - and see the history in everything from the street paving to the architectural details on the house facades. It's a cool experience."
