Visit Denmark's Parliament (in Danish)

Come and experience what it is like to navigate the Danish Parliament, Folketinget.
We will take a guided tour to learn about the work of Folketinget and the history of Christiansborg Palace.
We will also see how Christiansborg functions as the centre of government, democracy and legislation.
Our visit will include the Great Hall, the Constitutional Exhibit, and the Parliament Chamber.
The event will be conducted in Danish with few explanations in English. A higher level of Danish is therefore required.
It is free, but you have to sign up in advance.

It takes place:
Monday 19 May 2025 from 11:45 to 12:45.
Meeting point: In front of the Visitor's Entrance of Folketinget at 11:45

Please note that this event is for our Danish language students.

Charlotte recommends:
Do you have a favourite place outside of Copenhagen?
"Roskilde is a fantastic city! It’s one of the oldest cities in Denmark and contains a lot of cultural history. It’s also located next to Roskilde Fjord, which is known for its beautiful paths and wildlife. All while being only a 25-minute train ride away from Copenhagen.
For those interested in history, there is the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum by the harbour. But for those interested in culture, I recommend a visit to Musicon, which is an area full of container homes, graffiti and unique shops. Here you might find your next recycled gem in the shop Om-klædning. There’s also the magnificent rock museum RAGNAROCK, which is shaped like a gigantic electric guitar."
