Before you sign up
Before you sign up for a Danish course, we recommend that you contact our student advisor. You can either come to our office, you can call us on tel. 33 18 79 24 or you can write an e-mail:

The student advisor will talk with you and give you good advice on which course to choose. She might recommend that you take a level test.

If you do not have the opportunity to contact the student advisor, please take our free online Danish test. The test result will make it easier for you to decide which course to take.

Location in the very heart of Copenhagen
Our classes take place at Studieskolen, located on the corner of Borgergade and Gothersgade. We have three entrances: Borgergade 12, Borgergade 14 and Gothersgade 14.  Our administration is located on the ground floor at Borgergade 12.

Great prayer day 17 May - there are no classes and the office is closed.
Ascension day 30 - 31 May - there are no classes and the office is closed.
Constitution day 5 June - there are no classes and the office is closed.
Pentecoste 10 June - there are no classes and the office is closed.

Studieskolen's café
Our café is on the first floor near Gothersgade.
In the café you can buy good quality coffee and tea and a variety of soft drinks.
There are different kinds of sandwiches and salads. And why not finish off with something sweet? 

The café's normal opening hours
Monday-Thursday 10:00 – 14:00 and 15:30 - 20:00
Friday 10:00 – 14:00


Book exchange
In the red bookcase in the middle of the café is the 'book exchange'. You are welcome to take a book that looks interesting and you can also drop off your own books that you don’t need anymore but would like to share with others.  All languages are welcome.
