We asked our teachers if they have any special recommendations for experiencing Copenhagen. Here you can see what Anne Sofie recommends.

What do you like most about Copenhagen?
"I love the Copenhagen that one of my favourite authors, Søren Ulrik Thomsen, is fascinated by. It’s not really any particular places, but rather the city seen through a somewhat melancholic lens. Not the decay or the rundown areas as such, but the everyday Copenhagen, the lives of ordinary people. All the things that don’t appear brand new or polished. It’s the sight of elderly people, who are almost no longer in the city, and shopfronts from bygone times. Things that are rapidly changing into something sleek and a bit upscale.
But there are still plenty of places left where you can find something a bit more ordinary or rough.
Explore the city’s hidden corners. Get lost in the lesser-known parts of town. Turn down streets without all the usual temptations. Hop on a random bus and see where you end up."
