Maj Howardsen

We asked our teachers nstructors if they could recommend a place or an activity in Copenhagen. Here you can see what Maj recommends.

Do you have a favourite place in Copenhagen?
"The atmosphere I sense when I move through the city, looking at the cosy pavement cafes, cycling through busy intersections, or taking a relaxing stroll in the King’s Garden, is what I love most about Copenhagen.
It’s by using the city and experiencing it that you can most easily learn the Danish language. Whether it’s calmly ordering a Danish pastry at your favourite bakery and watching the passersby with a coffee in hand, or joining the local sports team and learning the language with a racing pulse – there are plenty of opportunities in fantastic Copenhagen."

Do you have a place or activity you would particularly recommend?
"I would personally recommend a delicious cinnamon roll with lots of icing at a local bakery and a swim in the harbour baths. It can be done year-round, if you’re up for a cold dip and a trip to the sauna in the winter."
