B1+ English Conversation & Writing

Improve your speaking and writingOn this course, you will learn to discuss more complex issues and also write about them. After the course, you will be able to understand the news or a film without subtitles and discuss the plot, etc. The topics will be selected according to your and the other students' needs and interests, but we usually talk about some of the following topics: work, technology, holidays, living abroad, voluntary work and entertainment.

You will be expected to submit three written assignments, for example, a film review, an advertisement and a formal or informal email. You will receive feedback on your writing. Your teacher will explain the typical mistakes made by foreigners when writing in English.

Teaching materialYou do not need to buy a book for the course. All the material will be selected according to your and the other students' needs and is included in the price.

Overview of the course layout and materialYou will receive access to our online digital platform, Moodle, which provides a comprehensive overview of the entire course. You will also be able to contact your classmates and discuss the activities taking place in your class.

• see the plan for the course, the individual teaching sessions and homework


• see teaching materials including extra materials such as videos


• communicate with your teacher and your fellow students


• follow up and catch up on lessons missed if you are absent during the course
